The Crew

Specializing in quality custom home construction on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula for over thirty years, Beachy Construction, Inc. has expanded with opportunities and crews to complete many commercial projects in the state as well, including a local bank, a senior housing complex, and a fitness center, as well as school buildings and airplane hangars in remote Native villages.

The son of a builder and pastor, founder Sam Beachy and wife Marilyn moved to Homer, Alaska, over three decades ago from Sarasota, Florida. In 1978, Beachy Construction was incorporated, operating out of their small home office. Sam first partnered with a friend and then with his brother in general contracting and building construction. Marilyn worked in the office and raised their four children at home.

Later, Sam invited son Sheldon Beachy and family friend Ken Farnen to first become partners in Beachy Construction, Inc. and now President and Vice President of the company as he has retired to winter in Florida.
